Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions supercede and replace any previously published.

Graham Vedmore DVD Production, The Wedding Video Shop, endeavours to provide the best service possible on the day in accordance with the package purchased or the individual agreement made.

Video taken on the day is the intellectual property of Graham Vedmore and not for resale.

A booking fee (deductable from the final cost) must be paid and the balance settled at least a week prior to the wedding day.

If possible we will attend the rehearsal.

On the day we will turn up smartly dressed, sometimes at themed weddings it is possible for us to fall in with that theme.

On most weddings a review of the film with the bride and groom will take place... this is your chance to alter or amend any part of the film... if it meets with your approval then we will go to print wth it.

Music

If you wish to provide your own music please do so before the day as we edit to that music. Graham reserves the right to reject inappropriate music which will adversely affect the final movie's quality. Please make sure that the music has been correctly recorded.

Music brings a video to life!

The wrong music will kill it!

You're welcome to select your own music, but try to stick to these guidelines.

  • Don't be overdramatic ...  the theme to Gladiator which is called “Now we are Free” is  great but not on a wedding video.
  • Don't pick music which will dominate the movie or which contains morbid themes such as “Tragedy” or “Honey”.
  • Don't pick too many tracks from the eighties and nineties as these can 'date' your movie.
  • Try to get music to us before the wedding, we will be ready  to start editing it at once and any delay takes your wedding down the list of priorities and we don't want that!

We have a sort of 'top twenty' which other brides have chosen. If you're in doubt then leave it to us, we know what we're doing.

Can you give me the name and the artist of the music you used for Menu screen on the DVD and on the 3 minute Cameo video? People really loved those songs and we keep getting phone calls and emails from people asking about those amazing tunes! You are very good at picking the right songs - you have a natural talent for this sort of thing it seems.
